Another frame by frame little animation.
I have been having so much fun lately doing these and I want to get more into making more!
I try to do most of the work using traditional media so each frame is drawn with pencil, then ink then watercolor washes and one more final ink pass.
Then I scan the drawings and do some refining in Photoshop and line up the final frames.
There are a total of 16 frames playing on 2s. In order to work on the timing, I sometimes repeat frames if I want to hold a frame for extra longer, if I want to help conveying weight and gravity for example.
Once I was happy with all the frames I brought them into After Effects, did some final adjustments and rendered the entire animation.
While this can be a time consuming process, I have more ideas like this one and I would like to work on them.
