OFFICE CHAIR

A couple years ago this guy reached out to me with a freelance opportunity. He asked me to build a 3D representation of a product for his online shop. The product in question was this office chair you are seeing right now.
Yes, this is nothing special, not visually at least. However, this project has a place deep in my heart due to the fascinating story behind it.

The guy who hired me was a low-baller and emanated total wishy-washy vibes. I noticed this from the get go, but I decided to go ahead with the project, because this was a great opportunity for me to get started with learning Blender, which is something that was on my bucket list for a while.

Because of this project, I learned a few tricks with Blender and I felt much more comfortable using it for future software.
I showed the guy some WIP images, but he eventually flaked away, and of course I didn't get paid anything...
Howeeeeeeeeeever, the guy also sent me a real chair so I could use as a reference... So after a few months had passed, I sold the chair online and made some $$$ from it.
Funny enough, 2 days after I sold the chair, the guy reach out with more work opportunities. But I never responded to him.
I am sure if he finds this post he will probably want his chair back, which will be a problem because I no longer have it. But I am happy to pay him the cost of his chair as long as he pays for the time I invested working for him.
